Beginner Sewing Course 4 Weeks/ 2hr sessions 

Sewing Machine Basics 1 & 2 

Ready to pick up that needle and thread for the first time and only have a few hours? Or finally take that sewing machine you bought out of the box and put it to good use? With this class we are going back to the basics, starting from scratch, and taking you step by step through all the essentials to make learning to sew a fun and inspiring experience.

This class is perfect for complete beginners & people who have sewn in the past but need a refresher.

In this course you will learn sewing basics how to set up and thread the machine. How to sew lines.  Also how to use different sewing tools. You will learn how to use a zipper foot. How to attach a zipper. How to add batting and lining to your project. You will take home your finished pieces to show off. 

In this course we will make a Book sleeve, Boxy Makeup bag, Denim bag with handles and adjustable straps. 

Ages 12 and up 
All sewing machines & supplies are provided. This will be an intimate class up to 4 people.
